I decided I didn't just want engraved dots on the die so I bought a thin piece of mirrored acrylic to cut and embed/glue them into the die engravings my full exterior render of the 6 sided die coaster set internal cube render that'll be inside the die coasters. but the silver dots here are representing the magnets that will be inlaid in the acrylic cut/engrave patterns for internal cube cut patterns for mirrors die circles cut/engrave patterns for exterior die
Hell yeah brother let's do a recap on this set in this object design class! I actually really enjoyed this class, I do photography and VCD so taking another course in this where I have infinite creativity to do literally whatever I wanted. so so cool. I genuinely learned so much in this course and one of my favourite studio courses. you are a phenomenal teacher Bryan thank you thank you thank you <3 onto my recap!!!! Started with a refresher of a voxel model, took me some time to get back into the swing of things after doing almost 9 months without it, but genuinely helped me remember commands and just being reintroduced to the program project 2! definitely the project I learned most on. surfaces, lighting setups, materials, and just any command I could find and experiment with. really helped get me comfortable with the application and really I cannot express enough the big learning curve/leap I took from project 1 to this one.
